Doogee expands in 2015 with some promising devices
Doogee is a name that is not really familiar to most of the people out of
China, but the manufacturer is gaining momentum. Doogee is trying to get
an attention with their future phone lines and the smartphones looks like
something worth writting about.
There 6 new models – DG700, DG750, DG850, F1 Turbo Mini, F2 Ibiza, F3
Europa. Let’s take a closer look.
DG700 (knows as Titans 2) is a sub $150 IP67-certified phone. It’s also
dust and shock proof. DG700 has a solid body, metal frame and a what looks
like a leather touch on the back. It packs quad-core MT6582 chipset
clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB RAM. It has 8GB expandable memory. The
screen in 4.5 inches with qHD resolution (960×540). What is really
impressive is the battery size, which is 4000mAh. The not-so-big screen
size in combination with qHD resolution and low power consuption chip
should give this phone impressive endurance rating (at least it looks like
this, but we’ll see).
It has 5MP front and 8MP back camera, but actually they are with lower
resolution and they are interpolated.
One cool feature on the phone is the user-programmable hard key on the
right side of the phone, which can serve for different purpose depending
on the user’s settings.
If you are looking for a hard-to-break device maybe you can cosider Doogee
DG700 as one of your options.
DG750 also called Iron-Bone is another Doogee phone, which will have metal
frame (aluminum-zinc alloy to be precise). It’s going to offer more power
with an octa-core processor, however the exact frequency varies according
to the different sources. We will trust the Doogee official website, which
says that it will be clocked on 1.3Ghz (although some other websites show
1.7). You’l’ find 8GB expandable storage plus 1GB RAM. Iron-Bone will have
bigger 4.7 inches screen with the same qHD resolution. It will be
supported by 2000 mAh battery. The front and the back camera will be 5MP
and 8MP respectively.
The last model of the DG series is DG850 Hitman. It has 5 inches HD screen
(720×1280 resolution) with quad-core 1.3 GHz processor. There is more
memory on board – 16 GB, but it sticks with the same 1GB RAM. 2500mAh
battery will power the phone and it will be equipped with 13MP back camera
and 8MP back camera.
Again the phone will sport the aluminum-zinc alloy frame on its sides.
The F1 Turbo mini will be the first 4G capable Doogee phone. The phone
will have 64-bit MTK6732 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. There will be 8GB
ROM + 1GB RAM on board and will be have HotKnot. The screen will be 4.5
inches with qHD resolution and 2000 mAh battery. Camera specs include an
8.0MP primary rear camera and a 2.0MP secondary cam. As mentioned, this
phone will be 4G-capable for FDD-LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/17/20.
The next phone from the F series is F2 Ibiza. You’ll find here bigger 5
inch qHD screen with the same chip, memory, ram and cameras.
The last F phone is F3 Europa with 5 inches HD display. It will spot the
same chipset, RAM and ROM, but better cameras. The back camera will be a
13MP one, while the front will be 8MP wide-angle camera. It will be
powered by 2500mAh battery.
It will be covered with Gorilla Glass 3.
Probably all F series phones will have back touch covers and Europa is
most likely to be released with fingerprint scanner as well.
