Doogee just can’t stop releasing phones in 2015. We already saw Doogee Titan2 in the late December 2014 and now, just for about a month, we saw Doogee Leo and Doogee F1 Turbo Mini. The next one to follow is Doogee F2 Ibiza. The phone already appeared on some online retailers’ websites and hopefully it will be available for purchase soon.
If we have to be honest there are lots of similarities between Dooge F2 Ibiza and Doogee F1 Turbo Mini. It looks almost the same phone in terms of hardware and there are some common design points.
The display is 5 inches and it comes with a mediocre qHD resolution, but it should be an IPS one and with decent viewing angles. This leads to 220 ppi density. It’s not that bad, but we can’t say that it’s good enough for 5-inch screen.
There’s a metal-like frame around phone. Probably it is really metal, but not some cheap plastic-like material. Doogee F1 Turbo Mini has similar frame and probably Doogee F2 Ibiza won’t disappoint us here. The back of the phone is a little bit curved for better grip similar to F1.
The handset will be powered by MTK6572 – the new 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It will be paired with 1 GB ram and 8 GB in-build storage (microSD card slot up to 32 GB is available). All that on the top of Android KitKat 4.4.
Of course the phone will be equipped two cameras – 8 MP back camera and 2 MP front one. Still no word which sensor is used and what’s the aperture’s size.
Doogee F2 Ibiza will work with wide variety of broadband frequencies and it will support 4G thankfully to its 64-bit MTK6572. The exact numbers are FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz, GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz
One 2500mAh battery will take care and power the phone. It should be enough to take you through one day of normal usage.
Release date, price and availability of Doogee F2 Ibiza ?
Unfortunately there’s still no exact information. As we said the phone is already listed with some online retailers, but there’s no additional information. We think that probably we are at most about one month away from Doogee F2 Ibiza’s launch. The price, which is listed now, varies between $120-$166. Considering the price of the similar Dooge F1, we think that Doogee F2 Ibiza should cost around $120-$130, because it has larger screen and 25% larger battery. There are also rumors that the phone can be directly offered in some European countries (probably Spain, if we can consider phone’s name as a clue).
